This a continued blog about the wolves I saw.

755M
Black turning grey, 6 years old, sex: Male, Pack: Lone wolf
We saw two wolves. One female and one male. The male was numbered. his number was 755M. The M stands for male. He is a black wolf. When I saw him he was mostly grey. The reason he was grey was because he was old. Wolves only live until around 10 or so. He was 6 so he was fairly old. His girlfriend or mate was only 2 years old. There's a little age gap. His mate before this one died. I don't know her number. When I found him he was eating a carcass. I didn't know what he was eating but I found out later. The pair of wolves were eating a baby elk.

ReplyDeleteAnyway, your pictures are amazing. It seems as though you are on the trip of a life time and learning so much as you go. I will try to see if we can get the students on here to read your blog on Friday. Cross your fingers for us, and do your school work!
